You cut the shoe where the discs connect, to create one of seven different styles, adding extra chains and laces as desired. Directions on how to create each style are included with the boots when purchased.

The boots are moulded in Melflex, a malleable PVC developed by Grendene exclusively for Melissa shoe ranges. The plastic moulds to the shape of your feet. It is breathable, hypo-allergenic ,odourless and recyclable.

Melissa disassembles and recycles all overstock styles into their next season’s collection. They also use a bubble-gum scent to make their shoes smell sweet.

The Pesce boot was produced in a limited edition.

The shoes are a perfect demonstration of Pesce’s radical fascination with bold sensual colour, the use of synthetic materials and the double functionality of objects.
