Senior creative designer for Nike Running, Kasey Jarvis, led the way with his Trash Talk performance basketball shoe.

Made from manufacturing waste, it won Best in Show at the 2009 IDEA awards. Champion basketballer, Steve Nash, was a prominent supporter.

Jarvis was inspired to create Trash Talk after a trip to Vietnam where he was overwhelmed by the volume of waste materials surrounding footwear factories.
